Who Are We?
This question may be best answered by our Purpose Statement:
Woodland Ridge Presbyterian Church is a servant-driven community which exists to
worship the triune God; to celebrate the truths of the Reformation; and to glorify
Him in our city, our region, among the immigrant in our midst, even to the ends
of the earth.
In this statement you can learn a great deal about who we are. We desire to be like
Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve (Matt. 20:28). We strive to be more
than a religious organization. We want to be a community knit together by the presence
of the Holy Spirit. We realize that the primary reason we exist (corporately and
individually) is to worship the God who is there, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We,
in worshipping and in serving Him, celebrate our Reformed heritage. We in turn strive
to see His name exalted in our city, in our region, among those from other cultures
in our city, and even to the ends of the earth. We therefore desire to be known
as an Acts 1:8 church.
